I know the popular trend is to blame the size and strength of modern athletes and the tremendous power loads they place on their tendons, but I think that is too simple. There have been super strong athletes in every generation. Wilt Chamberlain and Jim Brown and so many others never had Achilles injuries. Perhaps less is more when it comes to Athlectic shoes.
